New daily flights between Cap-Haitian and Fort Lauderdale by Tortug'Air

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 5, 2014. Haitian Airline Tortug'Air, in partnership with U.S. operator Aerodynamics, Inc. (ADI), will fly daily flights between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, direct to Cap-Haitien, Haiti. ADI will operate a 50 seat Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft on the route.

"There is a need for daily service into Cap-Haitien since the only other major airport is Port-au-Prince in the southern portion of the country. Limited infrastructure and roads make the drive from Haiti's capital city to Cap-Haitien a very real challenge. Knowing that Tortug'Air and ADI will help connect the Haitian community gives this partnership an essential purpose," says Scott Beale, ADI's CEO.

Tortug'Air, based in Port-au-Prince Haiti, was established in 2003. The airline launched its first flight in 2004 with domestic connections to five major cities within Haiti. Since then Tortug' Air has expanded its routes and capabilities and now provides international links to neighboring countries, including scheduled services to Nassau, Santo Domingo, Aruba, and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Aerodynamics Incorporated, operationally based in Atlanta, GA, has multiple operating bases in the U.S. and is a certified FAA 121/135 Air Carrier (Cert# BUEA634C) offering large aircraft flight operations. Long recognized for its core value of operational excellence, ADI has served the industry for 54 years without incident or accident, one of only two companies operating Regional Jets in the supplemental 121 on-demand regime able to make this claim.
