HRA Business Expo is returning to Haiti in 2015

The 6th annual Business Investment Expo & Conference is returning to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Organized by HRA, this network and information sharing event is scheduled for January 15-16, 2015, at the Karibe Convention Center.


"After much debates and multiple requests from various stakeholders, we have decided to once more offer this important opportunity to connect potential investors directly with Haiti's private sector and government leaders to stimulate international investment and economic growth," said Firmin Backer, President of Haiti Renewal Alliance (HRA).

 

The event offers attendees unique access, fosters partnerships and collaboration, promotes diaspora engagement, and enables the sharing of best practices. Additionally, for the 2015 HRA Expo, the Haiti Renewal Alliance has partnered with the U.S. Chambers of Commerce, the largest chamber of commerce in the USA, and the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) to broaden their outreach in the Diaspora and expand their international presence at the HRA Expo. The 2015 HRA Expo will focus on networking via B2B, B2G match as well as linking vendors to buyers.

 

According to the organizers, since its inception the HRA Expo has attracted over 2500 participants from 10 countries and 22 states. Over 210 companies have showcased their products and services in the expo pavilion and 16 entrepreneurs have pitched their ideas during the conference's signature activity, the Investor's Tank. The platform is regarded as the premier gathering of private sector executives, investors, entrepreneurs, senior government officials, and non-profit organizations for the promotion of investment in the Caribbean, particularly, Haiti.
