Haiti Investment Forum to take place in Washington, DC
 
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Americas is organizing the Haiti Investment Forum to take place on Thursday, September 13, 2012, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., at CSIS's office in Washington, DC.

The Haiti Investment Forum is a project that seeks to bring members of the Washington policy community together with private investors in Haiti. According to the organizers this event will explore progress in the decentralization of Haiti’s economy, focusing on recent investments in the North Coast region. Attention will also be given to the increasing use of public/private partnerships and continued efforts in rebalancing a fragile economy that is on the path to recovery.
