MEMA Business Plan Contest Open

Organizations and entrepreneurs who want to grow their business, or are thinking of opening one, can apply before December 10 for the business training and business plan competition called My Future My Business (MEMA - Mon Entreprise Mon Avenir). The project is organized by Technoserve through its initiative called Haitian Business Accelerator (HBA) funded by Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.

The ten winners of the contest will receive $10,000 funding for their businesses and additional support services.

The contest consists of a few stages. Initially, organizers will select 375 participants to take part in the first series of training seminars happening simultaneously in four regions of the country: the North, Center, the Metropolitan Region, and the South. Upon completing the training they will have three weeks to produce and submit a business concept.

At the next stage of the project, 75 participants will be selected to take part in the advanced training session, followed by the submission of a business plan. 30 authors of the best business plans will present their ideas in front of a jury and only ten of them will receive the $10,000 cash awards.
