JCI Haiti received support for building a young talent development center

Representatives of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) from more than twenty countries have pledged their financial and technical support to JCI Haiti for the construction of a multipurpose center for young talent development in Haiti. This support was expressed during the JCI Americas National Presidents Meeting held on January 30th through February 2nd in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

"The center aims to provide a comprehensive framework of opportunities for young people to develop their talents," said Jude Jean Jacques, representing JCI Haiti. The 1056 square-meter center will encompass, among other facilities, several meeting and conference rooms, a library, a private audio-visual production, an amphitheater, and a multimedia space.
Global Office officials of the Junior Chamber International headquartered in St. Louis, United States, reaffirmed their support for various JCI Haiti projects, especially regarding expanding the organization in several other cities in Haiti this year.

JCI Haiti currently has ten local organizations and is present in five departments of the country.
Junior Chamber International Haiti is part of the global network of the Federation of Junior Chamber International, whose mission is to provide youth development opportunities to enable them to create positive change. The Federation has nearly 200,000 members in over 119 countries.
