    WEST PALM BEACH, FL: The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) of West Palm Beach is excited to announce that it will host a multicultural educational and health fair on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Belle Glade Teen Center, 350 S.W. 10th Street, Belle Glade, Florida 33430. Anticipating more than 250 health fair visitors, HANOA is putting out a call for medical and other healthcare professionals to volunteer. HANOA president Mrs. Louise Lorraine Voltaire RN stated, "On behalf of HANOA,I want to thank the Boys and girls Club for the Partnership I am also Calling all doctors, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists and other healthcare professionals in the Palm Beaches Area to volunteer a few hours to share their expertise with people and give back to a community in need."

    During the free day-long event, medical and healthcare professionals will provide educational information about nutrition, diet & exercise, childhood obesity, HIV/AIDS, mental health and common chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disorders, depression, dementia, breast cancer and more. The fair will also offer complimentary health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and mammography.

    The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) of West Palm Beach Looking for Chefs to do healthy cooking classes to educate people on the benefits of eating healthy and cooking fun, flavorful meals with tips that are easy to implement. Everyone can benefit from learning about healthy cooking—people transitioning to healthier eating, those already familiar with healthy diets and cooking, and others who require special dietary restrictions.
