• PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) - Jacky Lumarque, 58, Sauveur Pierre Etienne, 59, and Chavannes Jeune, 63, officially were nominated for the President of the Republic by their respective parties, Verite, Organization of Struggling People and Kontra Pep La.
  
  Sauveur Pierre Etienne was the only of the three to face a primary within his OPL political party. Lumarque was a decision of consensus and Chavannes Jeune is on his third campaign for the presidency.
  
  Lumarque graduated in Mathematics (Université Toulouse III, France), holds an MBA (Université Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France) and a Bachelor in Law (Common Law, Université Lyon III, France). He’s the President of Université Quisqueya, Member of the Board of Directors of AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie), Member of the “Conseil Associatif” of AUF, Member of the “Comité de Gestion” of AUF, and Coordinator of the Presidential Working Group on Education.
