• Wednesday, Barack Obama has appointed Peter F. Mulrean as new Ambassador in Haiti. After ratification by the U.S. Senate, he will replace Pamela A. White, who had submitted her credentials on August 3, 2012. At the moment no date for taking office was provided.
  
  Peter F. Mulrean, is a career member of the Foreign Service, class of Counselor, is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, a position he has held since 2012.
