Overview

• Zak Myers is a junior at South Broward High School and an Eagle Scout working on a service project to help orphans in Haiti. But he won't be changing diapers or playing with the children. His focus is on solar energy.
  
  With donations, Myers was preparing to travel to Port-au-Prince in February. His plan is to install solar panels in February.
  
  "I would love to keep working with solar electricity and continue widening that horizon," Myers said.
