A native of Haiti, Jean Paul arrived in the United States in 2004 with a suitcase and a dream to excel. Since his arrivival, he has taken charge of his academic and professional development while remaining committed to achieving his dream. Though faced with the challenges of living in an unfamiliar culture, Jean Paul was empowered by the values of hard work and discipline with which he was raised.

Jean Paul’s approach to addressing the challenges facing Haiti is combine to his training in dental care with his need to give back. He founded the Unspoken Smiles Foundation, a non-profit organization that brings dental care,supplies, and training to children in parts of Haiti who never had access to this type of care. Unspoken Smiles has attracted the support of the Resolution Project, which provides them with financial support as well as access to a wide range of essential resources. Jean Paul's stron leadership and successful track record for delivery of care have attracted investors who partner with him to help the children of Haiti.

Jean Paul's philanthropic achievements have garnered recognition from a variety of prestigious organizations, including The United Nations Youth Assembly, The Diehl Family Social Enterprise, The Resolution Project, Echoing Green and The Clinton Global Initiative University. He has been honored with a prestigious Professionalism Award from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2011, and was recently recognized as the Dental Professional of The Year 2015 by the Creative Dental Connections.

Jean Paul is currently an Executive MPA candidate at Columbia University, with a concentration in Advanced Management and Finance.
