We are a community-based non-profit organization, with a 501(c3) tax exempt status. Our goal is to promote our cultural heritage, educate our youth, and provide needed resources and services to the Haitian community.
Our foundation is committed to strengthening the educational achievements of Haitian students through mentoring, tutoring, and cultivating leadership. We accomplish charitable acts that benefit needy Haitians from all walks of life, and we always respond to those who reach out to us in times of crisis. We provide countless cultural activities and events that foster awareness of Haitian culture, while keeping our members connected to their community. We serve as a bridge between those Haitians who are already part of our community and those who have just arrived.
The foundation activities are carried out mostly by committed grassroots volunteers, and our financial support comes significantly from our members. Our foundation often partners with other Haitian and non-Haitian organizations and institutions to fulfill its mission, but also to promote strong intercommunity alliances.
